Not even catching a minute

I finally got around to doing the few changes to the apple painting, you might not even notice, but I changed the little glare spot a little.
The kids and I headed down to Urban-1 this morning to see---no paintings. There is seriously only one left! I took the fruit ones and the 'Peace" one and the other two new ones down. I have so much work to do and so many ideas...I wish I had at least 30 hour days! There is a new seasonal window display and the paintings for that color theme I must get done asap! I have a few other paintings to get done for other people by the new year too, busy, busy. I love it, keeps me sane.
I must admit that I love to paint because it is a stress release, however I am getting stress thinking of all the work ahead of me. This is basically creating a vicious circle and I now must paint, not because I want to but because if I don't I will explode!
Anyway...
Whenever I have my paints out Kaitlyn gets so excited and immediately goes on the search for a piece of canvas and all the pink paint. She love to paint just as much as I do, and she does it ambidexrously(I have no idea how to spell that and my attempt was so bad that my spell checker turned up 'no suggestions'). Ethan on the other hand would rather climb on the chair or the table and create a mess. Must be a boy thing.

Nap time, this time it ended up that she fell asleep on the living room floor. I just loved how the light kissed her cheeks.....the miserable snow filtered light. It snowed all day today, I guess I should come to terms with this winter business!
A few canvases got prepped. I had planned on finishing them tonight, silly me!
Of course it didn't work out. The kids were wide awake until midnight so all I have to show is what I did last night. This pair is called 'Bluems' and I will have them over here(click) on my art blog right away.
When you have a two year old that has no pants on and you are getting ready to go out for dinner, you send her to her room with the order to put some pants on, what do you expect to happen?
Well around here this is what happened. She came out in no diaper and a bathing suit around her neck. I sent her back to try again and the final result was diaper, bathing suit, tights, dress, sweater, and boots. Yup, she wouldn't have it any other way. At least this time it kinda matched!
Dinner at East side Mario's with my sister 'TT". Mmmm, it was good, not as good as the new one in St. Albert, but still good. We had wanted to try a new Mediterranean restaurant that was just opening---tonight, but decided we will wait a week or so to let them iron out any glitches, we might be a bit to handle on the first night.
What was up with the Canada flag in the food? I cannot figure it out, Canada day was back in July, Thanksgiving was in October, what is it, Canadian chicken or something?
After dinner Dave headed back to work to do his paper work and Katie and I headed over to HomeSence with the kids. Christmas music was playing and a little girl was in the mood...to dance.

Ethan somehow managed to get his own pants off and was quite proud!

That wraps up out day. The kids are tucked in---at last, ahhhh! I wanted to paint, but I am wiped!
Night!
Oh, and I also did the tag post, it is below this one ......
now good night....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....

Anna! That's amazing that all your paintings were sold. You must be thrilled.

I love the apple painting, but you're right, I can't really see what's changed.

LOL about his pants. He's a real cutie. They both are.

oh and the flag is always in that chicken at Eastside Mario's... My thoughts have always been that they must do that in the States... New York, Flag... Statue of Liberty... patriotism....

Maybe I have no idea..

I think that is so cool that you paint such beautiful things and sell them in a professional shop... and I know you!

I looked up your word and all you did was miss the t behind the x! Good guess, better than I would have done.
