Dreaming

Ooo, I had forgotten about Firefox! We used it on our desk top for the last few years and when I got my laptop I never even thought about it and just used what was there. No wonder I have been having issues! I wasn't thinking! Doh!
I hear a lot of Apple love out there in blog land, how are they so much better, can someone fill me in?
I know they are pretty and even my husband raves about them, though from a gaming perspective. How would it benefit me to have one?
Should I really run down to my nearest Apple store barefooted and in my PJ's? Are they that cool?!!
So please fill me in, I want to know what I am missing, I know nothing about them.

OK, now that there are a few programs back on this thing I am able to load my pics once again, yaaaay!
And now blogger is having a problem and I keep getting errors, what is with Blogger? I need my own domain, maybe tonight! This is so frustrating!

I am glad to be up and running again though....

However we had a serious glitch happen. Dave saved the contacts and all our e-mail archives, or so he thought. Turns out it didn't work and they are gone, gone, gone. So now I have no ones addresses anymore and am a little stressed.

So please, if you ever want another e-mail from me again e-mail me so I can add you back into by contact book. This is a royal pain in the you know what, but it must be done.

I am going to try the photo upload again now...
still nadda!
Ack!
Going to upload to flickr and make a link, I can always trust flickr, watch me jinx myself now though.
OK so here is the link to the pics from the last two days with the sets on the right, Clickety-click here.
Dave came to gymnastics this morning and the kids were so excited, daddy is so much fun!

And in other news...

Today we went out to see a few homes, one in the town of Lumsden, and an acreage (must click!) out near Craven----the acreage I had high hopes for from the photos online and once we drove into the yard it was amazing, way better in real life, I was in love!

Gorgeous gardens, yes more than one with patios and walkway made out of slate stepping stones, a huge gravel play pit and sheds, gazebo, a green house, a huge shop and garage, and the hills and a river and there was more, oh I was in looooove! (sigh)

We walked into the house and went directly to the left into the kitchen, and it was a dream kitchen, amazing, beautiful, a true wow! And I was still in looove.

Then we walked through the rest of the house, ugh. It broke the deal. There was no open concept here and it was terribly broken up and....very ugh! The kitchen was off to the left down a hall and the living room was off to the right down a hall with the front entrance, a laundry room, the stairs going up and down and a full bath separating them, absolutely no connection. I wouldn't be able to see the kids at all while cooking, they might as well be at the neighbors. It was so weird, who would want to live like that?!

The more I stood there trying to figure out how I could make it work the further my heart sank, every wall I would want moved was supporting or had pipes. There was no way! I am so sad. The right one will come at the right time, right? Well that is what I have been told. I will wait, it will be worth it. Really, it will. (I am trying to convince myself) OK....I am alright. I can wait. :)

What a shame, walls can be in the dumbest places. Obviously the house was designed by a man who didn't know that women need to have their kids in sight at all times so they don't destroy the house in 2.5 seconds. Oh well, hopefully you'll find the right place soon.

Do you have picasa? They are the same online album that blogger uses for storage. That is what I use when blogger photos aren't working. I just upload the pics I want and then use the links. That way all my blogger photos are stored in the same place.

My ISP blocks flickr, so I would be sad if you used it....

Sniff....

Are you feeling sorry for me yet? I guess it will only be whenever blogger photo uploading doesn't work right? :)

I *detest* computer problems. We seem to have had more than our fair share of it. I don't much about Apple, but people seem to have a love-hate relationship with them.

Aww, I do feel sorry Chatty. I have been using flickr to store my photos online now for over 3 years--almost 4 I think, and am a huge flickr lover.
Some day when you are on a different comp you will have to check the flickr sets out. I only link to it when I have blogger issues, but I have a lot of other pics there too.

You will find the right place. No sense settling for something you don't love.

I am getting kind of frustrated with Blogger lately too but far too busy to move to my own domain just yet ;-)

Okay, I'm moving back to Craven and buying that house! I'm the perfect candidate for a house where you can't see the kids while you're cooking, seeing as I have no kids!
Yeah, not going to happen... but a girl can daydream...

Looks like a beautiful house. Too bad it is not what you are looking for. You will find what you are looking for and it will be well worth the wait.

Lumsden is a beautiful town we considered moving out there. We have a cabin out at sask beach so we drive out that way almost every weekend in the summer.

I hate computer problems too. I'm in the market for a laptop now.
About the house, don't be discouraged. You'll know when you find the right place.
Not to scare you, but we looked at over 40 homes before we bought our first place; and then for our second we looked at even more, and I was pregnant at the time. Funny, my mom asked how the baby felt when we found this place, and I told her, OK. Even in utero LOL!
