Snow-tacular!

What an amazing weekend....well Saturday, Sunday was recovery. But before I get all ahead of myself and caught up in the day I am going to get some other business out of the way.....ya, ya , if I wasn't a day and a half behind in my posting I wouldn't be in this position, but as it is I am.

So first of all the reason you didn't have this post to read first thing this morning is because I was up till past 3 am.....learning the tricks of navigating in illustrator and also doing a bit of site renovation over on my art blog. You see a special friend of mine is a very talented graphic artist, and amazing blogger.....what you don't read her blog?!
Well, well....you will get hooked and love her like we do, she has a witty way with words.
My connection to her?
Kinda funny actually. We grew up going to the same church, I stayed with her aunt, hung out with some of her friends and went to a pool side get together with her brother and SIL(click), but cannot recollect ever meeting her. Strange. Different circles I guess.

Anyway then we met up in blogland and the rest is history. She has now designed a new banner for me over here(Click) since I am illustrator illiterate, well, was, am working on it now. :)

Now for her identity....well it is kinda a secret, as in an agent kinda way....Ok, Ok, (clickety-click here) to see who she is!
Told you that you would love her!

Now for Saturday. (that is mia mammia above) I love her. And my lil Eth-man pulling up his shirt to soak up the warm winter sun. He knows he needs more Vit D. Anyway, it was an amazing day, almost t-shirt weather. I loooove winter on days like that!

So we headed out to the cottage with my family to go skidooing for the day. Kaitlyn and I even went and Kaitlyn was screeching "faster mommy, faster", hee, hee, she is going to be a little like me with her infatuation to go fast. Must be the adrenaline part.

Sledding down the hill was so fun too. Last year Kaitlyn cried her eyes out as she watched me fly down the hill, but this year she was all into it and giggled with glee as we went down together.

Taking a hot cocoa break.

My boys!
Hope you had a great weekend. I just cannot believe I am coming around to winter, ha, ha, as 40 below is just around the corner waiting to pounce on me. I will just enjoy the warm sun all I can right now.

Just remembered something....looking out the window at the skidoos my Grandpa started to chuckle...."Red and yellow, black and white." Like the sunday school song....all are precious in His sight.....in this case their sight. :)

Okay, you have to fill me in... how did you and SAJ go to the same church?

Looks like a great weekend!

Kami-I guess I should have made it clearer. The church we went to had conferences throughout the year so people would get to know each other in differnet citys. She went in CA and I went here. We all knew each other all across Canada and the states though and have connections through family and friends and through traveling. Hmmm, does that make sence?

That photo of the snowmobiles is hilarious- I can't believe they mesh with the song! The photo of the kids with the sun beams spread across is really cool.
