Button's, friends and paint.

And this post is as willy-nilly and all over the place as the title.

For the first time in ages the paint brushes weren't touched all day long.

Instead we (as in Kaitlyn) glued buttons.

Ethan watched, but really just wanted to eat the glue I am sure so we didn't let him near it.

He was sad.

The sadness did not last for long however because Kami and Camden showed up for a playdate.
I think Ethan has a crush.
He flirted and batted his eye lashes, cocked his head and smiled. He really has a thing for pretty girls!

The kids played, all in their own little individual parallel worlds while Kami and I sipped coffee and chattered away.
What fun!

Later in the afternoon I was giving the kids horsey rides on my back. Kaitlyn was screeching, "Giddy-up, giddy-up let's go." Then she stopped and said, "horsey stop now, I have to make a call."
I stopped and she dialed her play phone,
"Hello guy, beep guy, worker guy, I'm riding horse.....ya.....ya....oooh........good bye, see you later.''
She continued to ride then and had to dismount to take the next call. Silly girl.

Supper time.
The kids love to help and found pounding the meat to be great fun. Though they would pat and then look at their hands like they should be covered in Wasabi Teriaki sauce. Mmmmm, my favourite chicken slather!

Now rather than fill you in on my eat's of the day, (I was really good) I am calling it a night. The kids are asleep, I have done my 'hub's' time and now I am going to paint, yay!!!!
I should have a few canvases to share with you soon...seeing as the kids keep sleeping.

The other night I was complaining to Dave that I have had no time to paint and he said, "Oh really?!"
I said, "Ya, I sure miss it."
He said, "Well you could blog less."

Point taken.
I am offa here!

Funny!

Did you make the paint brush holder? It is pretty. I saw some of those on a blog and always wanted to make them.

Honey,

I have a package to send for the kids. Fun things I found at the Dollarama. Cool store! I could spend a small fortune there. I spent a good hour wandering around trying to find stuff for both of the kids. I had a hard time choosing. I will have to do this more often. Might be a couple of things for Mom too!
I will send this weekend by mail or Monday by courier.
Hope you like it.
Love and miss you lots!

I am equally as smitten with that little man of yours. I have a soft spot for cute bald little boys ;-)

I had fun too! And too funny on the parallel universe things...they were all totally doing their own thing!
