Back to the normal drag

Dave is so happy he got up on the roof and got the Christmas lights up the other day, because...this morning it is covered in snow! Just a light dusting, but snow none the less. The kids were pretty excited to see it this morning and hung out at the window for 30 mins checking out the change in their yard.

Kaitlyn's elephant house, don't you just love her paint choices?! Actually this was part of my anniversary gift from Dave back in August, it was our 'wood' year---just so you don't think he is weird for giving me a plain wood birdhouse.

Practicing for halloween, Kaitlyn still loves her ladybug costume even if it is her second year to wear it, and truthfully I thinks she will get to wear it again next year. Though when asked if she is going trick or treating she will tell you "NO" quite adamantly. Once she finds out there is candy involved I have a feeling she will change her mind.
And now for our little pianist in training, here he is working on his first masterpiece. He plays at least an average of half an hour a day. He would play more I am sure, if I could handle it and let him.
