Oh, boy. Me and my impulse buys. This is why I no longer go to auctions. I would always come home with a box of crap. Today was no small item though, yikes, I bought a piano from a thrift store!
Have no idea how good it is, it definitely needs a tune up. Says it had one April of 1923, who knows if it's had one since. Still freaking a little.

Looks like it's in pretty darn good shape for its age! Have fun with that - children banging on a piano is a great way to accustom yourself to tuning out noise!
Oh, and yes, I had almost forgotten about that costume party! I can't believe I wore what I did either! Actually, I mostly can't believe I was in good enough shape to wear what I did...
I am so excited for you... I love piano. I spent 1/2 my morning playing mine!
I am so jealous. We even have a 'piano wall' set aside for when we get one. I have to go to my Mom's to get my piano fix right now.
Congratulations on the newest (inanimate) addition to the family. I hope it is well used and is the source of much fun and entertainment!
Beachmama - I, too, have a "piano wall" set aside and hope to fill it soon!
I love your new piano, but not as much as I love you guys and your family! I can hardly wait to spend time with you again - Christmas seems to far away! HMM, may be I will have to take a business trip to Regina!
Love you lots.
