Lazy days...

Ethan is rolling over on his own really well now. Though sometimes he still gets stuck on his belly and then his head gets a little heavy...time for a nap.

First tooth!

So...My little man is getting so big! On Saturday the 17th he cut his first tooth!

I hope this means that our nights will be getting better. He used to sleep quite well at night (3-5 hour stretches) then all of a sudden he was waking almost hourly. Between him and Kaitlyn (who wakes every few hours) it makes for painfully long sleepless nights!

Ethan started off liking solids, the baby food kind. Then all of a sudden stared to spit everything out. He would watch us eat and seem to want whatever we had. So we have started to feed him just that. Here he has a bun and he loved it, he seems to be an independent eater and loves to feed himself!

Kaitlyn loves to dress up and brought me this dress to put on her. She usually wants to wear a few outfits a day but she really loved this one and wore it the whole day.

White is pretty but feeding her meals was a nightmare!

We were feeling a little mainstream so we decided to flip over a new leaf. Are we hip, or whatever the cool word is now!?

Dave was in the middle of shaving off his precious locks and took a few minutes halfway through to take some wacky family pics. I back-combed my hair like crazy and 'dolled' up. Every time Dave shaves his head we get some crazy photos, usually just of him, so for kicks we all joined in this time.

Kaitlyn was looking at us like we were from another planet, while Ethan couldn't have cared less.

Not Again....

So my friends, I am sorry, I am afraid I jinxed us. I said crazy things like "I think spring is really on the way", and I really pushed the limits last night by wearing shoes out to get my hair done. It was the first time I wore shoes this season and they were backless slip ons at that! Well when I left the salon there was a blizzard out there and I had to walk through inches of frigid cold white stuff, freezing my feet... and this is what it looks like today!

More new fish, the tank is starting to look really good, there is at least 25 fish in there now.
Golden eye... I tend to go in circles and shoot like crazy, sometimes it actually works. Mind you that is all I can do considering I haven't played that game for at least 4 years, maybe 5, and I seem to have lost whatever touch I may have had. However, Emily was quite excited when she convinced me to play...someone she could beat!Another of Kim's vintage dresses. So cute on Kaitlyn!
Sitting up, though it doesn't last long. He is making progress though!

It was such a beautiful day Kaitlyn didn't want to come inside after our walk. She just kept hanging out in the stroller enjoying the birdies ( "bueeees", according to Kaitlyn)singing.
I just love this little spring jacket. It used to be my cousin Kim's when she was little. (she is a couple years older than me) You would never know it's that old though, it's in awesome shape!

Katie joined us and tackled the slushy streets with the jogger. She managed to flood her shoes a few times,but the kids stayed dry so all in all I was happy. (maybe I was really just glad it happened to her not me, I am such a nice sister;))
I was also so happy to not have to wear a heavy winter coat for a change....I think spring really is on the way...Yippeee!!!
